Comments from Michael Hogg on the “Call to Bare Arms for Kory”

July 5, 2010 @ 11:43 am

by Chad Hennings

Last weekend 2 wingmen groups collectively raised 41 pints of blood for a wingmen brother who stood in need and never asked for help. The results of this labor of christian brotherly love has gone far beyond a fresh supply of red blood cells. Our group in Keller felt a kinship with Colleyville never experienced before as we joined with them to help a brother in need. Our group felt the real deeper bonds of wingmen as we were called to stand as a group to shoulder a burden for another…then lastly. The patrons, employees, and even the owners of Manny Gs witnessed and even supported the cause of wingmen.  I can’t put into better words what it means to be a child of God than what we all witnessed last Friday. It was a true honor to be called a Wingmen. Blessings to you brothers

  1. Kory is a dear brother who—in all likelihood will have a continuing need in this area.  Those who would like to give but who were unable to attend the drives mentioned above can still do so by visiting a Carter blood donation site and indicating that you would like for your donation to be credited to Kory.

  2. Blessings to all who participated in the drives for our dear friend.  This will be a continuing need for the Fords.  If you did not have a chance to give at one of the drives mentioned above, you can still participate by going to one of the Carter blood donation centers, donating there and requesting that your donation be credited to Kory Ford.
